As long as this organization remains in the Democratic party’s side pocket, those who were raising hell a few years ago about voter intimidation will continue to look the other way.
Fake names get voter registration workers investigated
By LARRY SANDLERCriminal investigations could be launched against at least six voter registration workers who tried to add dead, imprisoned or imaginary people to the voter rolls, according to the Milwaukee Election Commission and the organization that employed them.
Officials are reviewing some 200 to 300 fraudulent voter registration cards, Sue Edman, the commission’s executive director, said Wednesday.
[...]
“One woman called us to complain because her husband has been dead for 10 years and a voter registration was submitted,” Edman said.
In about 12 cases, deputy registrars paid by ACORN were “making people up or registering people that were still in prison,” said Carolyn Castore, ACORN’s state political director.
And in other cases, workers used the same address for numerous voters or used driver’s license numbers that did not fit the voters’ birth dates, Edman said. But most of the fraud involved submitting duplicate cards for voters who were already registered, and forging the voters’ signatures, Castore said. (more…)
And how does the Federal government rewards ACORN? Yep! $$$$$$$.

I’m not sure what you want the voting rights crowd to say? No ones right to vote was taken away. It is what you have said several times already. Some acorn workers trying to get over and make extra money on faking registrations… They should get fired or prosecuted if that is appropriate. What more do you want? This is nothing like voter intimidation or caging or anything else like that.
No ones right to vote was taken away
If a person has serious problems with voter intimidation, that same individual should be just as irate about an organization that regularly abuses a system that supposedly provides a voice for all citizens, not made up individuals.
Some acorn workers trying to get over and make extra money on faking registrations
This not just “some”. ACORN has been doing this all across the country targeting mostly low income Black/Hispanic communities.
This is nothing like voter intimidation or caging or anything else like that.
When you regularly register non-existent individuals, been charged with submitting votes in elections by non-existent individuals all while you regularly support one particular political party, I say its just as bad.
