(blackenterprise.com) Move over Tiger Woods. More and more African Americans are joining you on the greens, according to the National Golf Foundation. In fact, there are 2.2 million African Americans golfing. With this increased interest in the sport, there has also been more attention paid to African American-owned golf courses. “We like to play at black-owned courses, as well as use African American owned related businesses and vendors,” says Benjamin Stoker, founder of the five-year-old The Harambee Golf Club, a 40-member strong association of black golfers in the New York Tri-State area. “I started the organization because I noticed that African Americans have been left out of such golf networking clubs.
